Another mild earthquake, this time measuring 4.8 hit Southern Iran at 8:28pm, according to experts at Sultan Qaboos University. A larger 5.9 quake was recorded 169 km from Khasab earlier in the day. The epicentre this time was approximately 200 kilometers from Musandam.
On Tuesday morning An earthquake measuring 5.9 and with a depth of 10 km on the Richter scale has been reported by Sultan Qaboos University’s Earthquake Monitoring Committee in Southern Iran, 196 km from Khasab.
The tremors were reported at 11.40 am local time.
