In a statement issued online by the Dubai Media Office, visitors arriving to the Emirate must adhere to the following guidelines set forth by the country’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in order to enter:

All visitors must download the COVID-19 DXB app and register their details on the app in order to expedite communication with local health authorities in case they begin to experience symptoms.

All visitors entering the Emirate must show proof of valid health insurance.

Visitors must supply proof of a negative PCR test taken no more than 96 hours prior to their date of departure to Dubai, and the certificate must be shown on arrival at the airport.

If visitors cannot produce proof of a PCR certificate, they must undergo a COVID-19 test at the Dubai airport upon arrival to the Emirate and must adhere to self-isolation until the results of the test are returned.

All visitors will undergo thermal screening upon arrival. If COVID-19 symptoms are suspected, airport authorities may re-test the individual to ensure they do not have coronavirus.

Travelers arriving in Dubai who test positive for coronavirus will be required to remain in institutional isolation for 14-days at their own expense, in a facility provided by the government.
