An Air India Express plane that was flying from Kozikode to Dubai, made an emergency landing in Muscat, after the crew noticed a burning smell from one of the vents.
The flight was diverted to Muscat International Airport, and officials said that on-ground engineering inspections were carried out. The investigations found no evidence of smoke from either the engine or APU, and that there was no smell of fuel, oil or hydrogen contamination.
