The ROP warned that scammers have been using a different method to scam victims, in which they send a text message promising them jobs with a specific daily salary.
The scammers will then ask them to open a bank account, where they will transfer money from their other fraud operations, then re-transfer that amount to external bank accounts. Officials advised the public to not respond to these messages and to report them immediately.
