As stranded residents in Oman continue to seek repatriation options amid the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, rosters of new flights for Pakistani and Indian citizens in the Sultanate who wish to return home have been announced for the coming weeks.
SalamAir, the Sultanate’s low-cost carrier, has announced it will operate five special round-trip flights between Oman and Pakistan, scheduled this week between July 6-10.
In a statement issued online, the airline has confirmed the following departures from Muscat:
— July 6: Karachi
— July 7: Sialkot
— July 8: Multan
— July 9: Islamabad
— July 10: Peshawar

Also, in a statement by the Indian Embassy in Oman, five additional repatriation flights under Phase 4 of the Republic’s Vande Bharat mission have been added to the current roster, bringing the total number of departures scheduled between July 1-16 from the Sultanate to 27.
The five new flights are as follows:
— July 10: Hyderabad
— July 12: Ahmedabad
— July 13: Bengaluru
— July 15: Srinagar
— July 16: Lucknow
