The results of an Omani opinion poll conducted by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) indicate a high level of support among citizens towards government action amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
A statement issued online today by Oman News Agency (ONA) said that the poll, which was conducted in May 2020, indicates that “95 per cent of Omanis are satisfied to one degree or another with official government decisions and measures to confront the COVID-19 pandemic.”
As of today, 1,311 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the Sultanate, bringing the cumulative total to 65,504, along with 1,322 new recoveries Saturday for a total of 42,772 COVID-19 patients now declared virus-free.
