Oman’s Supreme Committee for COVID-19 has expressed its praise towards citizens and residents in the country for their adherence to measures in place during the ongoing two-week lockdown period and ban on movement.
A statement issued online this afternoon [Monday, July 27], by Oman’s Government Communications Centre said: “The Supreme Committee has conducted a meeting at the National Emergency Management Center to follow-up with the developments of the pandemic, and it values the abidance of the decision of a full lockdown between governorates and a ban on movement from both citizens and residents.”
The Committee further called upon the public to endeavour to reduce movement during day-time hours and avoid family gatherings.
