COVID-19: Oman’s new cases jump by 349 on Wednesday, along with 9 deaths

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 349 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate.

In a statement issued online today [Wednesday, September 9], the MoH has confirmed that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 87,939.

The number of new COVID-19 recoveries announced today is 142, bringing the total number of patients in the Sultanate who are now coronavirus-free to 83,115.

The MoH has also confirmed that the total number of COVID-19 fatalities now stands at 751 with 9 new deaths announced today, while the number of coronavirus patients hospitalized in Oman has stands at 462, with 167 in ICU.
