COVID-19 Oman: Total cases in Bausher cross 5,000, Al Amerat 1,000

As Oman records 739 new COVID-19 cases today [Thursday, June 18], 548 of them have been registered in Muscat Governorate.

With the total number of coronavirus cases in the country now standing at 26,818, the number of cases in the capital has now reached 19,408.

As of today, the Wilayat of Seeb now has 6,511 total cases, followed by the Wilayats of Muttrah with 6,062 cases, Bausher with 5,177, and Al Amerat with 1,000.

Authorities at the MoH have confirmed that COVID-19 recoveries in the Sultanate have risen to 13,264, with 1,467 new recoveries announced today clocking in at almost double the amount of new cases. Three new fatalities have also brought the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the Sultanate to 119.
