COVID-19: Oman to operate repatriation flights from Malaysia, UK today

Two flights to repatriate Omani citizens from Malaysia and the UK are set to depart today [Monday, May 18], returning back to the Sultanate.

In statements issued online by Oman’s Government Communications Centre (GCC), a dedicated SalamAir flight to evacuate Omani citizens from Kuala Lumpur to Muscat has been organized in cooperation with the Embassy of Oman in Malaysia and Al-Salam Aviation.

A separate flight operated by Oman Air will also be arriving back in Muscat today from London Heathrow, repatriating Omani nationals stranded in the UK. Those citizens wishing to avail a seat on this flight should contact [email protected].
