COVID-19: Oman registers 590 new cases Thursday, total now 79,159

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 590 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate.

In a statement issued online today [Thursday, July 30th], the MoH has confirmed that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 79,159

Of the 1,147 new cases announced today, 496 are among Omani citizens and 94 are among non-Omani residents. The number of new COVID-19 recoveries announced today is 1,181 bringing the total number of patients in the Sultanate who are now coronavirus-free to 61,421.
