COVID-19: Oman records one new coronavirus fatality on Wednesday

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has indicated that the number of COVID-19 deaths in the Sultanate has risen by one new fatality.

Today [Wednesday, June 10], in its daily statement announcing the registration of new COVID-19 cases in Oman, the MoH also noted that the number of COVID-19-related deaths now stands at 84.

As of today, 689 new cases of the novel coronavirus have been registered by health authorities, bringing the overall total in the country to 18,887, with 4,329 recoveries also recorded.

The MoH has also confirmed that 293 patients with COVID-19 are currently admitted to hospital in Oman, with 85 of those patients in intensive care.
