COVID-19: Oman records 9 new fatalities on Tuesday

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has indicated that the number of COVID-19 fatalities in the Sultanate has risen by 9 new fatalities.

Today [Tuesday, June 2], in its daily statement announcing the registration of new COVID-19 cases in Oman, the MoH also noted that the number of COVID-19 related deaths now stands at 59.

As of today, 576 new cases of the novel coronavirus have been registered by health authorities, bringing the overall total in the country to 12,799, with 2,812 recoveries also recorded.
