The Embassy of Pakistan in Oman has confirmed that 284 of its citizens were repatriated from Oman via two Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights which departed Friday [June 12].
In a statement issued online, the Embassy confirmed that both flights departed Oman carrying 140 and 144 passengers respectively, bound for Multan. Embassy officials confirmed that the latter flight also carried Pakistani nationals being repatriated from Yemen.
Pakistani Ambassador to Oman, His Excellency KK Ahsan Wagan, once again expressed his gratitude to Omani authorities and PIA “for their continued assistance in the smooth repatriation of Pakistani nationals.”
