Thirty-three employees from Muscat Municipality who have recovered from the COVID-19 novel coronavirus have donated blood plasma to help others in Oman still battling the illness.
In a statement issued online today, the Municipality said that 33 of their staff donated at blood donation centres designated by the Ministry of Health “in accordance to conditions set by the Ministry.”
As per the Municipality, the move comes in an effort to support and contribute to immuno-plasma treatment “which has been proven effective in treating COVID-19.”
