COVID-19 Oman: Monday’s tallies see 207 new cases and 8 fatalities

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 207 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate.

In a statement issued online today [Monday, August 10], the MoH has confirmed that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 81,787.

Of the 207 new cases announced today, 167 are among Omani citizens and 40 are among non-Omani residents. The number of new COVID-19 recoveries announced today is 1,433 bringing the total number of patients in the Sultanate who are now coronavirus-free to 76,124.

The MoH has also confirmed that the number of COVID-19 fatalities now stands at 521 with 8 new deaths announced today.
