In a statement issued online today [Thursday, May 21], the MoT outlined the following measures which must be adhered to:

Face-masks must be worn in public areas of the marina, in conjunction with social distancing and avoidance of gatherings.

Marina administration will provide hand sanitizers in all public areas of the marina.

Passengers and crew on super-yachts greater that 25 metres in length, must not exceed 10 people.

Passengers on pleasure craft should not exceed 6 people and they must all be from the same household.

Tourism boats can only be used for picnic purposes by the owner’s household and should not exceed 6 passengers at a time.

The MoT also noted that marina management will monitor compliance of all regulations for the operation of such vessels and report any violations to the relevant authorities.
