The Malaysian Embassy in Muscat has confirmed that the first batch of Malaysian nationals have been repatriated from Oman in the country’s first mission to bring its stranded citizens home from the Sultanate.
In a statement issued online on Wednesday [July 15], the Embassy said that 113 Malaysian residents in Oman departed from Muscat International Airport on a Malindo Air flight bound for Kuala Lumpur, landing in the early hours of Thursday morning [July 16].
The Embassy also reminded all returning citizens and residents that they are required to download and activate the MySejahtera application prior to their arrival in the country.
