COVID-19: Lockdown to be lifted in Hamriya, Wadi Kabir Industrial Area on June 28

Speaking at the 11th press conference of Oman’s Supreme Committee for COVID-19 today [Thursday, June 25], Dr. Saif bin Salim Al Abri, Director General of Disease Surveillance and Control at the Ministry of Health announced that health isolation in Hamriya and the Wadi Kabir Industrial Area will end on Sunday, June 28.

Dr. Al Abri also noted that sanitary lockdown measures still remain in effect in the Muttrah Souq area.

Businesses in Hamriya and the Wadi Kabir Industrial Area will be allowed to resume operations between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but will remain closed in both areas on Thursdays and Fridays.
