The Indian Embassy in Muscat has announced 16 new flights scheduled between July 1-13 to repatriate stranded citizens from Oman under Phase 4 of the Republic’s Vande Bharat mission.

In a statement issued online, the Embassy has shared the below roster for departures:

As before, the Indian Embassy has confirmed that passenger lists for all repatriation flights will be finalized by the Embassy, and those short-listed to fly will be contacted directly by their representatives.

Priority for travel will be given to those with medical emergencies, pregnant women and the elderly, workers in distress, and “other Indian nationals who are stranded in difficult situations.”

In its statement, the Embassy reiterated: “The cost of tickets will have to be borne by the passengers themselves and air tickets will be issued by the airline only to short-listed persons. All passengers are required to confirm acceptance of all conditions of travel, including quarantine requirements in India, as well as health requirements in order to board the flight.”

This afternoon [Friday, June 26], Air India Express flight IX 1442 took off from Muscat International Airport carrying 181 Indian nationals bound for Kochi, the Embassy has confirmed.
