As Arabian Business reports, the Emirate has confirmed that, as of Wednesday, May 27, select businesses will be allowed to re-open and, between 6:00 a.m. till 11:00 p.m., there will be freedom of movement in public.

Among those commercial activities allowed to re-open are indoor gyms, sports and fitness clubs, retail and wholesale outlets, cinemas, entertainment and leisure activities, and airport operations limited to returning UAE residents and transit passengers upon approval by authorities.

Businesses and commercial activities allowed to operate must adhere to stringent guidelines for health and safety, including maintaining 2-metre social distancing and wearing face-masks.

Currently, the UAE has 30,307 registered cases of COVID-19.
