COVID-19: 284 new cases recorded in Muscat, total in capital reaches 5,173

As Oman registers 463 new cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus today [Saturday, May 23], bringing the national total to 7,257, 284 new cases have been confirmed in Muscat Governorate, bringing the total in the capital to 5,173. The second and third highest numbers of total COVID-19 cases are in South Al Batinah Governorate with 489 cases, and North Al Batinah with 382 cases respectively.
