In a statement issued online, the Embassy said that Air India Express flights IX 1714 to Kannur and IX 1554 to Trivandrum would take off this afternoon.

The two departures mark the first of 16 repatriation flights under Phase 4 of the mission scheduled between July 1-13, 2020, as per the roster below:

The Embassy has advised those passengers wishing to travel on the newly-scheduled flights to fill out a new registration form on their website.

As before, the Indian Embassy has confirmed that passenger lists for all repatriation flights will be finalized by the Embassy, and those short-listed to fly will be contacted directly by their representatives.

Priority for travel will be given to those with medical emergencies, pregnant women and the elderly, workers in distress, and “other Indian nationals who are stranded in difficult situations.”

The Embassy has reiterated: “The cost of tickets will have to be borne by the passengers themselves and air tickets will be issued by the airline only to short-listed persons. All passengers are required to confirm acceptance of all conditions of travel, including quarantine requirements in India, as well as health requirements in order to board the flight.”
