#COVID-19: 10th repatriation flight from Oman to India to depart today

A 10th flight from Oman to India is set to take off from Muscat International Airport this afternoon [Friday, May 22] carrying Indian nationals to the city of Kannur amid the second phase of the Republic’s Vande Bharat repatriation mission.

In a statement issued online today by the Indian Embassy in Oman, embassy officials confirmed that check-in was currently underway. Authorities stated that embassy staff have been working round-the-clock to assist all Indian citizens in Oman with “urgent and compelling” reasons for travel back home.

Three more flights are scheduled to depart from Muscat tomorrow, two bound for the cities of Kochi and Trivandrum in the south Indian state of Kerala, and one bound for the city of Gaya in the eastern state of Bihar.
