The Ministry of Health recorded 46 new COVID-19 cases, and no COVID-related deaths in a 24-hour period.
Countries around the world have also been recording a rise in infections, due to the fast-spreading Omicron variant, which was also detected in Oman last week.
The ministry called on people to continue taking the necessary COVID precautions, and to get the booster shot of the COVID vaccine, if they are above the age of 18.
