Oman’s Ministry of Transport (MoT) has announced that work has commenced today [Saturday, July 18] on a 27 km stretch of the Bidbid-Rusayl road expansion.
In a statement issued online, the MoT confirmed that: “The Ministry of Transport initiates the construction of the 27km of the Bidbid-Rusayl road expansion project, which includes four lanes on each side, new flyovers, pedestrians tunnels and bridges, and rainwater drainage facilities.”
At a cost of OMR 86 million, the project aims to be completed in 30 months.
