Oman’s embassy in Bangkok has announced that people can travel to Thailand for medical treatment.
The embassy said that people who are willing to travel can submit requests in the Thai embassy in Muscat and to know the scheduled flights and the required documents.
Visitors will need to provide a (COE), a medical document that ensures the patient is fit for fly and a medical report that ensures he/she is not infected with COVID-19 (72 hours before flight date).
The traveler should also have a COVID-19 insurance of at least 100,000 dollars, a proof of ability to bear the costs of treatment and all other expenses, a letter from Omani health centre that approves the need of travel and a letter from a Thai health centre that it will accommodate the patient.
The maximum number of companions is three people, according to the embassy
