#BREAKING: Oman announces 35th COVID-19 fatality

Oman’s Ministry of Health has announced the death of a 68-year-old Omani citizen suffering from coronavirus, who succumbed to complications from the disease this evening [Saturday, May 23].

In a statement issued online, the MoH confirmed that Oman’s COVID-19 fatality rate has now risen to 35.

The Ministry has extended its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.
