Breaking News: New Supreme Committee Decisions

The Supreme Committee issued several new COVID-related decisions today:
- The night lockdown and closure of commercial activities will be extended so that the curfew begins at 5 PM and ends at 4 AM, starting from the evening of Friday, July 16th until the morning of Saturday, July 31st.
- There will be an exception of the three days which correspond to Eid Al-Adha days (10-12 Thul Hijah) where there will be a full lockdown and prevention of movement (meaning throughout the day as well).
- The decisions exclude the Governorate of Musandam. Those who want to visit Musandam must be vaccinated with at least one dose of a Coronavirus vaccine if they are coming from within Oman, and 2 doses for those who are coming in from abroad. This decision is effective as of Friday, July 9th and until further notice.
- Egypt will be taken off of Oman’s red travel list. The following countries will be added to the list: Singapore, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Tunisia, Libya, Argentina, Colombia, Brunei, and Dar es Salaam. This decision will come into effect on July 9th and until further notice.
