Oman’s Supreme Committee for COVID-19 has announced on Thursday [August 13] that Sunday, November 1, 2020 will be the beginning of the academic year for all school students.
A new curriculum has been approved that will merge online schooling for some classes, with physical attendance for some subjects. The Ministry of Education will announce the full details later.
Teachers, faculty, and administrators will start work from September 27, 2020 and the year will have at least 180 working days.
