#BREAKING: 930 new cases of COVID-19 registered in Oman, total now 16,016

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 930 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate.

In a statement issued online today [Saturday, June 6], the MoH has confirmed the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 16,016.

Of the 930 new cases announced today, 239 are among Omani nationals and 691 are among non-Omani residents. The MoH has also confirmed that the number of COVID-19 recoveries still stands at 3,541, along with 72 deaths recorded thus far.

Currently there are a total of 251 COVID-19 patients currently in hospital in Oman, with 67 of those patients in intensive care. The Ministry has also confirmed that 3,128 coronavirus tests have been carried out in the last 24 hours.
