#BREAKING: 811 new cases of COVID-19 registered in Oman, total now 9,820

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 811 new cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate.

In a statement announced online today [Friday, May 29], the MoH has confirmed that the total number of cases in the country now stands at 9,820.

Of the 811 new cases announced today, 315 are among Omani nationals and 496 are among non-Omani residents. The Ministry has also confirmed that the total number of COVID-19 recoveries has risen to 2,396, with 40 deaths recorded thus far.
