#BREAKING: 712 new cases of COVID-19 registered in Oman, total now 18,198

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 712 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate. 

In a statement issued online today [Sunday, June 9], the MoH has confirmed that the total number of cases in the country now stands at 18,198.

Of the new cases announced today, 362 are among Omani nationals and 350 are among non-Omani residents. The MoH has also confirmed that the number of COVID-19 recoveries in Oman still stands at 4,152, with 83 deaths recorded thus far, two were recorded today.

Currently there are a total of 291 COVID-19 patients currently in hospital in Oman, with 85 of those patients in intensive care.
