#BREAKING: 636 new cases of COVID-19 registered in Oman, total now 9,009

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 636 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate.

In a statement announced today [Thursday, May 28], the MoH has confirmed that the total number of cases in the country now stands at 9,009.

Of the 636 new cases announced today, 345 are among Omani nationals and 291 are among non-Omani residents. The Ministry has also confirmed that the number of coronavirus recoveries in the Sultanate has risen to 2,177, with 40 deaths recorded thus far.
