#BREAKING: 513 new cases of COVID-19 registered in Oman, total now 7,770

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 513 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate.

In a statement issued online today [Sunday, May 24], the MoH confirmed that the total number of cases in the country now stands at 7,770.

Of the 513 new cases registered today, 179 are among Omani citizens and 334 are among non-Omani residents. The MoH has also confirmed that the number of COVID-19 recoveries in Oman has risen to 1,933, with 36 deaths recorded thus far.
