#BREAKING: 255 new cases of COVID-19 registered in Oman, total now 8,373

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 255 new cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate.

In a statement issued online today [Wednesday, May 27], the MoH confirmed that the total number of cases in the country now stands at 8,373.

Of the 255 new cases announced today, 166 are among Omani citizens and 89 are among non-Omani residents. The MoH has also confirmed that the number of COVID-19 recoveries in Oman has risen to 2,177, with 38 deaths recorded thus far.
