#BREAKING: 1,619 new cases of COVID-19 registered in Oman, total now 64,193

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 1,619 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate.

In a statement issued online today [Friday, July 17] the MoH has confirmed that the total number of cases in the country now stands at 64,193

Of the 1,619 new cases announced today, 1249 are among Omani nationals and 370 are among non-Omani residents. The MoH has also confirmed that the number of COVID-19 recoveries in the Sultanate has risen to 41450, with 298 deaths recorded thus far.
