#BREAKING: 1,157 new cases of COVID-19 registered in Oman, total now 66,661

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the registration of 1,157 new cases of COVID-19 novel coronavirus in the Sultanate. 

In a statement issued online today [Sunday, July 19] the MoH has confirmed that the total number of cases in the country now stands at 66,661

Of the 1,157 new cases announced today, 933 are among Omani nationals and 224 are among non-Omani residents.

The MoH has also confirmed that the number of COVID-19 recoveries in the Sultanate has risen to 44,004, with 318 deaths recorded thus far.
