The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has called on everyone to cut their internet usage during daytime hours.
The Authority has urged customers to avoid the use of internet for entertainment or recreational purposes between 9am and 6pm to help meet the needs of healthcare, relief, distance learning and offices,’ the TRA stated. Users should avoid sending large files and making unnecessary video calls at all times, ‘to avoid pressure on the network,’ it said.
