Omani citizens were asked to refrain from visiting Indonesia for the time being, as the government there declared a state of emergency due to the steep rise in COVID cases that is being witnessed in the country.
The Sultanate’s embassy in Jakarta also urged citizens to continue taking precautions and to stay away from crowded places.
