Authorities in the Sultanate warned citizens and residents across the country, to stay away from the sea as conditions are expected to be rough.
Heavy rains are expected over Dhofar and Al Hajar mountains, and the rest of the country may witness some rainfall as well. The weather conditions were brought on by a trough that extended from the Arabian Sea.
