The Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) issued a statement online, warning citizens, residents, and visitors to Oman, to take their precautions during rain. They called on people to avoid crossing wadis, standing under trees or near electrical wires, and swimming in beaches.
The authority also called on parents to monitor their children and keep them away from wadis, and it urged people to secure their properties as best as they can.
The CDAA affirmed its readiness to deal with any incoming emergencies that may come up, as a result of the heavy rains.
