A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said that the Minister of Health, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Saeedi, announced that the Sultanate will be receiving around 200,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine per week, starting from the first week of June.
The minister added that he hopes to have 30 to 35 percent of the Omani population vaccinated before the end of August. He also urged parents of 12th grade students to encourage their children to get the Coronavirus jabs, clarifying that this disease affects people of all ages, not just the elderly.
