Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has organized a thrilling program of Eid festivities, from June 16thuntil June 23rd. This includes breath-taking live entertainment, spectacular fireworks displays, exclusive mall activities, enticing retail offers, exciting raffles and prizes, unbeatable hotel promotions and unforgettable days out at Dubai’s top attractions.
Here’s a list of what people can look forward to!
FIREWORKS
At RIVERLAND Dubai, the Eid fireworks show will be held on June 16th and 17th at 9pm. There will also be mesmerising laser shows every night of Eid at 7:30pm, 8:20pm, and 9:30pm.
MUSIC AND SHOWS
Globally acclaimed singer, Amr Diab, is returning to the Coca-Cola Arena for a must-see live performance on June 18th.
Hussain Al Jassmi and Sherine Abdel Wahab will also be at the Coca-Cola Arena on June 21st. Tickets for this unmissable night of clapping, dancing, and unforgettable moments are now available for purchase.
Dubai Opera will also welcome fans to step into a timeless journey that brings the soul-stirring melodies of Umm Kulthum back to life. The Umm Kulthum Hologram Al Atlal on 18 June will see the legendary artist return to the stage, accompanied by a live orchestra in a mesmerising performance where the digital and real worlds merge seamlessly.
AN ENCHANTING AMBIANCE
The city will be decorated with Eid-themed decorations to bring the beauty of the season to all 15 locations around Dubai.
MALL ACTIVATIONS
The city’s malls will have entertainment for the whole family over the Eid Al Adha break.
City Centre Mirdif will host the Nickelodeon Rocks stage show and character meet and greet between June 16th and June 23rd. Little ones can say hello to their favourite characters including Dora the Explorer, Marshall & Chase from Paw Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Shimmer & Shine in six daily shows starting at 1pm. In addition, customers spending will receive double SHARE loyalty points during Eid.
At Dubai Festival City Mall, shoppers who spend AED 500 or more will have the chance to win AED 5,000 worth of Blue Points every day from June 16th until June 19th. The mall will also host the enthralling IMAGINE Show with new choreography each night at 7pm. The PLUMA Circus is another enchanting experience for families to witness. The captivating show is on at Festival Bay, Dubai Festival City Mall, with performances happening until June 20th.
ROAMING PERFORMANCES ACROSS THE CITY
Daily performances by a traditional Emirati band will be held at 4.30pm across the city, including Al Khawaneej Walk, Bluewaters Dubai, Circle Mall, City Centre Al Shindagha, City Centre Deira, City Centre Me’aisem, City Walk, Dubai Festival City Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Mall of Emirates, Nakheel Mall, and The Outlet Village.

Kids can stay for free and enjoy complimentary access to Dubai’s thrilling theme parks with a stay at Lapita, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Autograph Collection from June 16th until June 19th. Visitors to The H Hotel can also take advantage of free stays for kids, in addition to a 20% discount on room rates, complimentary breakfast, guaranteed room upgrades, early check-in and late check-out, a AED 50 voucher for H Bar, and a AED 100 voucher for Sanati Spa by Mandara. Rixos Premium Dubai is welcoming guests with 20 per cent off room rates, 30 per cent off spa treatments, and 20 per cent discount on F&B throughout the Eid weekend. Dusit Thani is marking down room rates by 10 per cent this Eid, while providing complimentary breakfast, late check-out, and even more benefits for Dusit Gold members.
Khalidia Palace Hotel, is offering a flat 30% off published room and F&B prices. Beach Walk Boutique Hotel is offering a night’s stay for AED 500; while Millennium Plaza Downtown, Conrad Dubai, and Beach Walk Hotel Jumeirah are offering special Eid rates on rooms starting from AED 400 per night. The Lemon Tree Hotel is giving guests up to 20 per cent discount on F&B and spa treatments during a stay, which can be booked for 25 per cent off usual rates if staying for three or more nights. Asiana Grand Hotel Dubai is welcoming guests for the perfect blend of Eid joy and tranquil serenity, with 10 per cent of room rates and F&B this Eid and a free kid’s club. For the perfect daycation, families can head to Roda Beach Resort and make a splash with a pool day pass and lunch buffet priced at AED 190 per adult and AED 60 for kids.
RAFFLES
Dubai Shopping Malls Group is holding its annual Eid Al Adha raffle. Shoppers who spend AED 200 across 18 participating community malls will receive a digital raffle ticket, with a chance to win cash prizes up to AED 200,000. There will be 22 winners in total, with draws taking place on the last three days of Eid.
Also, those who purchase the Modesh Shopping Card which costs AED 10 on the Dream Dubai app and website will be in the running to win AED 300,000 in cash in the Eid Grand Prize raffle. Modesh Shopping Cards can instantly be redeemed for Modesh clothing and accessories at the Modesh retail outlets in Box Park and Dubai Festival City or online at the Modesh store on the Dream Dubai app. The grand prize draw will take place live on the Eid stage with Dubai TV presence on the first day of Eid.

Guests to MOTIONGATE Dubai can meet their favourite characters and watch two spectacular live shows, such as Just Smurf It, and the martial arts themed Kung Fu Academy, and more. SPECIAL APPEARANCES BY MODESH
Families can look out for Dubai’s favourite animated characters, Modesh and Dana, as they travel around the city with special performances happening daily at 4pm. On the first day of Eid, Modesh will appear at Dubai Festival City, City Centre Mirdif, Dubai Parks & Resorts, and City Centre Me’aisem. On day two, Modesh will be at The Outlet Village, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, and My City Centre Al Barsha. Then on the third day, fans can catch Modesh at Festival City Plaza, Ibn Battuta Mall, Al Seef, and Circle Mall.
Children can also get into the celebratory spirit with a visit to Modesh World, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with all-new rides and attractions for 2024. Located at the Dubai World Trade Centre Halls 2 – 8, this beloved indoor attraction is home to Modesh and Dana, and is themed around the seasons of the year. The event kicks off on 21 June and runs until 18 August.
