The Ministry of Manpower says it will take “necessary legal action” after six Indian workers were killed inside a pipeline at Airport Heights in Seeb on Monday. “Procedures are underway against the competent company.” it said in a statement online.
The six Indian construction workers buried alive when the water pipeline they were working on filled up with mud are to be repatriated, authorities say. The men, all aged between 22 and 43, came from the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Tamil Nadu. An investigation has been opened.
