The Ministry of Manpower, represented by the Joint Inspection Team in Muscat, detained 43 labourers who were working selling drinking water in public places and along roads this month.
The ministry added through its Twitter page that legal measures are being taken against them and has assured employers of the need to adhere to and cooperate in following up with their workers and providing for their needs amid the current circumstances.
