2,848 health staff infected with COVID-19 in Oman

The Supreme Committee for Combatting COVID-19 met on Thursday (24 September) to update the public about public transportation and the aviation sector in Oman.

In the press conference, His Excellency Dr Ahmed Al Saidi explained that 2,848 health staff in Oman were infected with COVID-19.

He explained that 42 per cent of those cases were transmitted outside hospitals.

Dr Al Saidi confirmed the death of two expatriate health staff due to COVID-19 until date, a 37-year-old nurse and a 75-year-old doctor.
